About

My name is Lorraine, and I earned my M.S. degree in Counseling Psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. My professional experience consists of helping individuals struggling with a variety of mental health issues such as: depression, bipolar, trauma, anxiety, emotional disturbances, unresolved/complicated grief, anger management issues, substance abuse, psychosis, and homelessness. In my work, I have used a variety of therapeutic modalities to help clients work towards their established goals and to help guide the process of healing.

My compassion, authenticity, genuineness, and patience are just a few characteristics which make up my style as a therapist helping others. I use a person centered and strength-based approach in combination with other evidenced based interventions and therapeutic modalities. Therefore, I like to provide clients with a non-judgmental and safe environment filled with understanding and acceptance, in hopes that I can accompany them on a journey of self-discovery and healing.
