About

As we travel this journey of life, sometimes the way to health and wholeness is not too clear. During these times, it’s helpful to have a partner to walk with you. I have been in practice for over 20 years, helping individuals, families, couples and groups facing a wide variety of challenges. I treat individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, job-related issues, substance abuse and grief. I have advanced training in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder, especially combat related. Additionally, I work with couples looking to enhance or repair their relationships and parents grappling with the important job of raising children.

As the spouse of an Air Force veteran, I understand the special opportunities and challenges of military life. I know the difficulties around multiple moves, deployments and constant transitions. I can assist with navigating relationships difficulties, parenting military children, and working through the issues faced by the member and spouse. As a former VA employee, I have experience in facing the sometimes confusing process of securing the benefits you’ve earned and can help you navigate this system.

I am an experienced public speaker and am available for classes, conferences and retreats. Finally, I teach at several local colleges and enjoy the passing on of knowledge to the next generation of helping professionals. I am certified by the California Board of Behavioral Science to provide supervision to people seeking licensure.
