Choosing to seek support in the midst of difficulty, pain, or transition requires remarkable strength. I believe everyone has the ability to develop greater awareness of themselves and find more balance, joy, and meaning in life. As a therapist, I enjoy working with those who want to address life’s challenges and deepen their understanding of themselves and their relationships.
My clinical experience includes work with individuals and families across the lifespan facing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, cognitive decline, family conflict, and trauma. My approach to therapy is compassionate, holistic, and grounded in attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology (the connection between body, mind, and relationships), and mindfulness. While treatment is tailored to your unique needs, I draw from a diverse background of training in evidence-based therapeutic techniques intended to help you gain insight into your challenges, learn how to manage unpleasant thoughts and emotions, focus on your values, and live more fully in the present moment. I value cultural humility and believe it is important to consider how cultural backgrounds, identity, upbringings, and systemic inequities affect our daily lives. I strive to create an accepting and collaborative environment where you can safely develop the tools, awareness, and insight to support your growth and healing. I am currently offering appointments via telehealth only. I look forward to hearing from you!Show Less
