Currently, Dr. Savalia has privileges as Clinical Asst. Professor at USC Keck School of Medicine and has worked at Psychiatric ER unit since January 2011. Now he provides outpatient services.
Dr. Savalia graduated from Stanford University after finishing fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry. Afterwards, he worked in Bay area for more than 15 years in the Psychiatric Emergency Room and Acute Inpatient setting at John George Psychiatric Pavilion- Alameda County Medical Center and San Mateo County Psych. ER & Acute Inpatient Unit. He also worked as Court Psychiatrist for Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and San Mateo County Medical Center- Part Time. In addition, he worked at the San Francisco General Hospital Psychiatric Emergency Room as part time ER Psychiatric physician.
As a result of his extensive training and experience, Dr. Savalia provides Psychiatric evaluation, medication management, for almost all major psychiatric disorders including alcohol and substance use disorders & ADD/ADHD disorders in adults and children. He treats almost every psychiatric disorder.
