Therapy is the process of discovering one’s authentic self. I see my role as a therapist to guide patients’ on their journey of self-discovery. Tremendous healing can take place through the relationship between a therapist and patient.
Realizing each client needs an individualized approach, I believe my breadth of training helps me assess which modality best suits an individual. Some of which includes: Cognitive behavioral, Humanistic, Psychodynamic, psychosocial assessment, individual/group therapy, family therapy, art therapy, and play therapy. In my career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have worked with a diverse demographic of people.
Marcel Proust stated, “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.” The process of looking within oneself takes great courage and with this work, comes the reward of deeper interpersonal connections, compassion, and insight into one’s inner world.
